About Us
We are a second-generation, family-run vineyard set on 5 acres just outside the village of Ditchling in East Sussex.
The vineyard is nestled beneath the stunning South Downs. It was originally established in 1979, and currently cultivates the classic trio of Champenois grape varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
We manage the vineyard ourselves, guided by regenerative viticultural principles that prioritise soil health, biodiversity, and a deep respect for our childhood landscape. Our goal is to produce wines that truly reflect the unique character and terroir of this beautiful setting within the South Downs National Park.
With the vines recently replanted, we look forward to celebrating our first harvest in 2026 – the start of an exciting new chapter in Ditchling Vineyard’s story.
